Biman flight makes emergency landing in Ctg

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram following a technical glitch in one of its landing gear.

"Thanks to the captain and crew member, the flight with 42 passengers and six crews safely landed at the Chattogram airport around 9:40 pm" Biman MD and CEO Dr Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal told The Daily Star tonight.

The nose landing gear of the Dash-8 aircraft suffered a technical glitch, he said,

Before approaching for landing, the aircraft hovered in the sky of Chattogram for around 30 minutes, according to airport sources.
