BCL announces DU hall committee

After a gap of over five years, Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday announced the list of its presidents and secretaries for the 18 Dhaka University (DU) halls.

With approval of the central committee, DU BCL president Sanjit Chandra Das and general secretary Saddam Hussein announced the committee list.

The current DU committee was formed for one-year tenure in July 2018. After more than three and a half years, the committee is still operational, and it announced the hall committees.

"The new hall leaders have been asked to form the full committees at the earliest," Saddam Hussein told The Daily Star.

Before this, hall committees were formed in 2016 under the previous DU unit committee, led by Abid Al Hasan and Motahar Hossain Prince.
