A bird sanctuary protected by villagers in Pabna

Urbanisation has become unstoppable and nature's green is being overtaken by concrete jungles. As a result, animal habitats and bird sanctuaries are disappearing.

However, people of Sarutia village in Pabna's Bhangura upazila have taken an initiative to conserve a local bird sanctuary and provide shelter for them. They have created a safe haven for the birds.
