I am excited, I voiced Kabir Suman’s song this Eid: Liza

'Close Up One' famed singer Sania Sultana Liza has a hectic schedule this Eid. The artiste is set to appear in dozens of musical programmes on various television channels, and is soon to feature in three new music videos.

In a conversation with The Daily Star, the "Pakhi" singer talks about her upcoming Eid projects, and more.

How are you spending Eid?

Honestly, I did not get to enjoy the holidays much, as my schedule is completely packed with live shows. Yesterday was the only day I spent with my family.

I appeared on NTV's live musical programme on the day before Eid. Asian TV has arranged a solo live show on the third day of Eid. Apart from that, I will also be featured in other TV channels including BTV which will go on air throughout the week.

What music videos are you working on right now?

One of my biggest achievement this year is that I got to voice eminent singer-songwriter Kabir Suman's song. Asif Akbar and I will be doing a duet together, which will release soon. Belal Khan and I have also done a music video.

Fans will be also delighted to witness Muhin, Mehrab, Ayesha Mousumi and I coming together for an Eid special collaboration.

What are your favourite childhood memories of Eid?

Eid brings with it the sweet flavours of nostalgia and the memories of childhood. How can anyone forget the time spend with their loved ones?

My most treasured memories from childhood has got to be spending time with my parents in our grandparent's house. I don't think I will ever get to relieve such wonderful times ever – I will have it in my heart until I grow old.
