10 Minute School appoints Mirza Salman Hossain Beg as its new COO
10 Minute School, the leading Bangladeshi ed-tech startup, has recently appointed Mirza Salman Hossain Beg as its Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Salman will spearhead the 10 Minute School's vision of building a world-class edtech product in Bangladesh. He will be looking after the organisation's fundraising, business development, skills, product, and growth verticals.
Salman joins 10 Minute School after three and a half years at Telenor Thailand, where he served as Vice President, Head of Innovation. He had also previously worked with Grameenphone as Head of Digital Channels. He also contributed to building MyGP, the largest Telecom Selfcare App in Bangladesh. He had been serving as an Advisor and Board Director at 10 Minute School since last year.
10 Minute School is one of the largest learning apps in Bangladesh. Currently, it has over 3.6 million app users, 28 million social media subscribers, and a library of 40,000 educational videos covering the national curriculum syllabus.
