The other Hasan shines after Lunch, Mathews unfazed

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan backed up Nayeem Hasan's breakthrough at the stroke of Lunch to grab two quick wickets right after interval, and Tigers were back in hunt on day two of Chattogram Test. 

In the second delivery post-Lunch, Ramesh Mendis (1) was bowled by the hosts' talisman before Shakib found his third victim in Lasith Embuldeniya in the very next delivery, trapped in front for a golden duck. 

From 319 for four to wobbling at 328 for eight, Sri Lanka had lost the momentum even with Angelo Mathews, who reached 150 off 293 balls, still in the middle.

However, Mathews continued to demonstrate immense patience as he is on course for a double century and a fifty-run stand with tail-ender Vishwa Fernando, with a 400-run score in sight as the visitors head to Tea at 375 for eight after 140 overs of play.

Shakib could have scalped his fourth wicket in the penultimate over before Tea when Fernando presented an easy catch at mid-on to Mushfiqur Rahim, who ended up dropping it somehow. Fernando, however, was retired hurt at the last delivery of the session.
