Nissan Magnite launches in Bangladesh
Nissan recently launched its latest B-SUV model Nissan Magnite. The launch ceremony took place on Nissan Bangladesh's Tejgaon showroom in May 21.
Previously launched in 15 other countries including Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, the 1000cc Nissan Magnite comes with features such as HRA0 1.0L turbo engine, HRA0 X-Tronic CVT, cruise control and wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in-car assistant systems.
The exterior of the car features 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome door handles, silver skid plates, ORVMs with turn indicators, integrated spoilers and side cladding, roof rails and a chrome beltline.
The cockpit contains a 17.78 cm TFT display which shows information regarding fuel history, tyre pressure and trip duration.
According to Nissan, the Magnite was designed in Japan and manufactured in India, and can provide 15 to 17 km per litre mileage within cities.
The car features an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) to make driving on busy roads much safer. It also features a ground clearance height of 205 mm.
In terms of interior storage, the car has a 336-litre cargo space with 60:40 rear split and a 10-litre glove box, alongside 1-litre door pockets on each side.
Nissan Magnite is currently priced at Tk. 30,50,000 (30 lakh 50 thousand). It comes with a 3-year warranty, with Nissan providing free servicing for the first year, stated Nissan in the launch event.
