Bangladesh opt to bat first in Dhaka

Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first in the second and final Test against Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka today.
The hosts have made two changes to their playing eleven, with Mosaddek Hossain and Ebadot Hossain replacing Nayeem Hasan and Shoriful Islam, both sidelined through injury after the Chattogram Test, which ended in a draw as the two sides could not be separated after five days of cricket, dominated mostly by batters.

Sri Lanka have replaced spinner Lasith Embuldeniya with another in Praveen Jayawickarama. Both teams have opted for two pacers, two spinners in the series-deciding Test of the two-match series.
