Sri Lanka could see themselves becoming part of a few unique records after the lunch break on the second day of their second Test against hosts Bangladesh in Mirpur today.

As things stand, Bangladesh are 361 for nine at Lunch on Day 2. Mushfiqur Rahim is unbeaten on 171 off 339 deliveries while Ebadot Hossain is yet to open his account.

With all the nine wickets scalped by Sri Lanka pacers -- five by Kausn Rajitha and four by Asitha Fernando -- the visitors can be only the second team to have scalped all 10 wickets with seamers in a Test innings in Mirpur.

The only time this happened was back in 2008 when South Africa pacers scalped all the 10 wickets in an innings in a Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur. That time around, Jack Kallis scalped a fifer while Dale Steyn took four and Makhaya Ntini accounted for one.

But for Sri Lanka, two pacers have scalped all the wickets that fell so far in this Test. That also sees them on the verge of making another record. If Asitha, who now has four to his name, takes the final Bangladesh wicket, it will be the first time in Test history that two Sri Lanka pacers will have taken a five-wicket haul in the same innings.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, are not behind in reaching milestones in this Test. Aside from the number of records made yesterday, Bangladesh have now added 337 runs after losing their fifth wicket in a Test, which is now their second-highest tally in Tests after losing half of their batting order in an innings.
