Grameenphone, the local largest telecom operator, has raised the minimum limit of recharge for its customers.  From now on, the operator's customers will have to recharge a minimum of Tk. 20.

Before this change, customers could recharge a minimum of Tk. 10. Sources in Grameenphone have informed that the operator has already started communicating this change with customers over SMS.

When contacted, Mohammad Hasan, Head of External Communications of Grameenphone informed Daily Star that, this initiative is part of making things simpler for end-users. He also informed the minutes' pack campaign of Tk. 14 and Tk. 16 will be continued at an affordable rate; at a lower rate than Tk 20.
