‘Pushpa: The Rise’ strikes another record
Blockbuster film "Pushpa: The Rise" was a life-saver project for the Indian Film Industry, after the pandemic had kept cinema hall closed for months. The movie garnered much acclaim for its unique style and presentation.
Now, the music album of Allu Arjun's "Pushpa" has bagged another achievement. It has become the first ever album in India to hit five billion views, marking another record for the movie. From "Srivalli", "Sammi Sammi" to "Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda", and "Oo Antava Ooo Antava"—these tracks became the party anthem of the year. No wonder, these songs were also made in Hindi versions as well.
Bangladeshi popular singer Shithi Saha did a rendition of "Sammi Sammi" in the Bengali language.
Directed by Sukumar, the film generated around BDT 353 crore worldwide.
