‘Hawa’ to air in 41 halls on second week

"Hawa", which was released on July 29, will be airing in 41 theatres across the country from tomorrow, as reported by the film's production company. The film was initially released in 24 theatres.

The pre-booking of tickets for the second week is already underway. In the meantime, tickets for the next three days have already been sold out in some theatres, with other halls being fully booked for the next week as well.

"Hawa" is performing very well at Cinescope, Narayanganj. Multiple shows of the movie have been running houseful, with tickets for the first two days of the second week already sold out. Advance tickets for the third day are currently being sold.

"Hawa received an overwhelming response in the first week of its release. I'm hoping for the second week to follow the same trend," said Robbie, the executive director of Cinescope.

The film has also been running successfully at Grand Sylhet Cineplex. "Tickets for the first three days of the second week have already been sold out. I am hoping for a similar response for the week ahead," said Azad, manager of Grand Sylhet Cineplex.

Around 70 percent of tickets for the second week of "Hawa" have already sold out at Sirajganj Roots Cineclub, informed Atik, the director of Roots. The authorities are anticipating that all shows for the second week of "Hawa" will be running houseful.

The scenario for "Hawa" in Dhaka's cineplexes has also followed this trend.

"Hawa" was released in three halls in Chattogram, where the film garnered much appreciation from audiences. The authorities of these halls are hoping that the production will get the same response in its second week.

"The response our film received in the first week of its release was overwhelming. I hope that the second week also brings about such a reception for the film," said the movie's director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon.

Nazifa Tushi is also excited for the coming weeks of "Hawa". "This movie will set the Bangladeshi film industry on a new course. I hope the wind keeps blowing in our favour," she said.
