Films to look forward to in September 2022
After waiting for a long time, the film industry has recently witnessed an uptick in the position of Bengali films once again. The film fraternity has been celebrating the success of a few recently released films. In the coming month, a good number of films, which have been on the waiting list for a while, will finally see the light.
Two films "My Love", directed by Azad Abul Kalam and Shamim Ahmed Roni's "Live", will be released on September 9. The first project features Ali Raz, Aruna Biswas, and Amit Hasan, while the latter features Saimon Sadik, Mahiya Mahi and Ador Azad among others.
Debutante, Nishat Salwa has two films that will be released on the same day. "Birotto", alongside Emon, which is directed by Saidul Alam Rana and "Shopne Dekha Rajkonnya", with Ador Azad, directed by Mustafizur Rahman Manik will be released on September 16.
"Dhaka Attack" famed filmmaker Dipankar Dipon's "Operation Sundarbans" is another film which is among the list. The much-anticipated film will hit the theatres on September 23 in more than a hundred of halls. The trailer of the film is already available. The film features Riaz, Siam Ahmed, Nusraat Faria, Roshan, and Shatabdi Wadud among others.
On the same day, "Beauty Circus" will be released. The Mahmud Didar directorial film will feature Jaya Ahsan and Humayun Shadhu. This was Shadhu's last project before his passing. Ferdaus will be seen in an important role in the film.
On the last day of September, two films will be released. One of them is Dial Rahman's "Isha Kha". The film features Apu Biswas and D A Tayeb. The other is "Boshonto Bikel", directed by Rafiq Sikder, which stars Shipon Mitra, Subah, and Tanvir Tanu among others.
Nine films have been submitted to the Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors association for release and hall bookings. This is a record number in the last couple of years. Let us hope these films will successfully run in the halls next month.
