No fresh committees before the next BCL council: Bahauddin Nasim

Bangladesh Chhatra League has been asked not to form any new committee before its 30th national council, said AFM Bahauddin Nasim, joint general secretary of the Awami League.

"The national council is scheduled to be held on December 3. They [BCL leaders] were asked not to announce or form fresh committees before the council," he said after a meeting at the AL president's office in the capital's Dhanmondi today (November 12, 2022).

BCL can no longer announce committees of any district, upazila or university unit through a press release, he added.

BCL President Al-Nahean Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee could not be reached over the phone after repeated attempts.

The 30th national council of BCL has remained pending for the last two years.
