Novoair starts Rajshahi-Cox’s Bazar flights
Novoair, a private airline in the country, has launched direct flights between Rajshahi and Cox's Bazar.
Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman (Liton) yesterday inaugurated the first direct flight from Shah Makhdum Airport.
Novoair Managing Director Mofizur Rahman and Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Masudur Rahman were present on the occasion among others.
The flights will depart from Rajshahi every Thursday at 10:30am and will arrive in Cox's Bazar at 12:00pm.
Flights from Cox's Bazar will depart every Sunday at 3:35pm and arrive in Rajshahi at 5:05pm.
The fare for a one-way ticket starts from Tk 5,900.
Novoair is also providing a complimentary hotel stay for three nights and four days for tourists visiting Cox's Bazar. Passengers must purchase round-trip tickets from Rajshahi to Cox's Bazar and back to Rajshahi to avail the offer.
The hotels under the offer include Hotel The Cox Today, Seagull Hotel, Long Beach Hotel, Neeshorgo Hotel & Resort, Windy Terrace Hotel, Grace Cox Smart Hotel, and Hotel Sea Palace.
Novoair currently operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Saidpur, Jashore, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Kolkata.
