The first railway bridge over the Buriganga is being constructed in Aliganj area of Narayanganj. The rail line will connect the capital with Padma Bridge and the authorities are aiming to operate trains on it by next June.

RISKY BUSINESS... Some people have occupied both sides of the rail track from Malibag to Khilgaon and are engaged in brick breaking works. Such endeavours so close to the rail lines can cause an accident within a blink of an eye. This photo was taken in Malibag recently.
