BACHSAS celebrates Bangabandhu’s homecoming with film festival

January 10 marks the Homecoming Day of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. To celebrate the occasion, Bangladesh Cholochitra Sangbadik Samity (BACHSAS) organised the 'Bangabandhu Film Festival 2023'.

The festival will be staged at the Zahir Raihan auditorium on the premises of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). The programme is all set to kick-off today, January 9, around 2pm.

The 'Bangabandhu Film Festival 2023' will be screening four patriotic films including "Guerrilla", "Shyamol Chhaya", "Megher Pore Megh" and "Chironjeeb Mujib".

Bangladesh Cholochitra Sangbadik Samity welcome newly elected committee

Honourable Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Hasan Mahmud, MP will be attending the festival as the Chief Guest. Also present at the event will be managing director of BFDC, Nuzhat Yasmin, Bangladesh Film Directors' Association president, Kazi Hayat, and the president of the National Press Club, Farida Yasmin.
