Ira (Tanjim Saiyara Totini) and her beau Adil (Ahamed Sharzil) -- the charming couple in the university premise love to hang out with friends and enjoy every bit of their life. As a girl belonging from a conservative family, Ira has to lie to her father for stayovers with her friends, and goes out for long trips outside the city.

As the plot progresses, they spend colourful moments of their lives together. They also have to step into to the professional lives, where a complicated situation arises, suddenly turning their lives upside down. While Adil leaves Ira alone, one of their friends Rahat (Shashwta Datta) who lives a rather promiscuous life, stands by Ira. Anyone would feel the liveliness of the moments captured in the Shakeeb Fahad's latest fiction, "Shomoy Shob Jane" from the "Kachhe Ashar Ei Shomoyer Golpo" series, aired this Valentine's Day.

Till now, the film has reached almost 3 million views.

The director told The Daily Star about his experience of working with the biggest campaign of Valentine's Day project, that has created a trend for more than a decade now. "I would like to thank Adcomm limited for believing in me, and allowing us full creative liberty to execute a bold story on the screen,". Shakeeb had previously directed "Chhondo Chhara Gaan" for Closeup "Kache Ashar Oshomapto Golpo" series in 2019. The project starred Pritom Hasan and Sabila Nur.

"I believe we have this wrong idea that audience always like to watch star studded projects, which was actually proved wrong, since Closeup has always been arranging this project and welcoming new faces."

Apart from this, the story focuses on creating awareness on social issues that are often coined as taboos. "When such social complications arise, we often decide to keep quite rather than creating awareness, if we start speaking up, eventually these sensitive issues will be solved, and the young generation will be able to learn from their mistakes sportingly, and move on in their lives."

Totini has stolen the audience's heart not with her smile, but also with her capability of melting into the character she dons. "After 'Kolpona', this is one of those roles which I felt from heart. Ira's emotional and social journey and the trauma she goes through was very challenging to portray on the screen," shared the actress. "I am grateful to my director and co-actors for their immense support."

According to Shashwta Datta, it was a great opportunity for him. The actor's appearance on the show earned wide appreciation for his ability to portray a wonderful character arc. "I enjoyed every bit of the process," he added. "I was amazed with Shakeeb's effort, he was always behind us. From pre-production to executing the entire project, he was always there—as a genuine captain of the ship."

Totini and Shashwta were earlier featured in the project "Crazy for Love" in 2022.
