Amitabh Bachchan severely injured
Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that he suffered an injury to his rib cage while shooting his upcoming film, "Project K", in Hyderabad.
The veteran actor broke his rib cartilage during an action sequence for the film—which also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. He was taken to the hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, before being flown back to Mumbai for rest.

Taking to his daily blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "I have been injured.. rib cartilage popped and broke, along with a muscle tear to the right rib cage. Cancelled shooting.. consulted the doctor and got a CT scan at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, before flying back home.. strapping has been done and rest has been advocated.. movement and breathing is painful. They say it will take some weeks before it starts feeling better.. some medication has been given for pain."
"So, all work has been suspended and postponed until healing occurs. I rest at Jalsa and am mobile for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around," concluded Bachchan.
