Nusraat Faria’s ‘Abar Bibaho Obhijaan' coming June 8

Now, the promo video for the sequel, "Abar Bibaho Obhijaan" was released yesterday, and it seems to be just as funny as the first film.

Popular actress Nusraat Faria has an extremely large fanbase in Kolkata. In 2019, her film "Bibaho Obhijaan" became a hit for its comic and quirky take on love and marriage.

Now, the promo video for the sequel, "Abar Bibaho Obhijaan" was released yesterday, and it seems to be just as funny as the first film.

"Bibaho Obhijaan" was a light, rom-com film about the shackles of marriage that focused on the issues of the husbands, while portraying their better halves as a pain in the neck.

The story of the film follows Rajat and Anupam, who are henpecked at home. While Rajat's wife is very clingy and homely, Anupam's wife, Rai (played by Nusraat Faria), is a sort of 'urban revolutionary'—attending rallies and protests across the city and having no time for her husband. Feeling stuck, their husbands plan to visit Darjeeling for a few days.

"Abar Bibaho Obhijaan" follows the same storyline, but this time, Rajat and Anupam are joined by Gansha (Anirban Bhattacharya), as they plan to escape from their wives again after four years.

The sequel will also star Ankush Hazra, Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Sohini Sarkar, and Priyanka Sarkar, in pivotal roles.

Directed by Soumik Halder, "Abar Bibaho Obhijaan" is set to release on June 8.
