Apu Biswas, Rituparna share memory with choreographer Masum Babul
Three times National Film Award winning choreographer Masum Babul passed away yesterday. The entire silver screen fraternity is heartbroken over his passing.
Celebrities from both sides of the border have had the experience of working with him, and today Apu Biswas and Rituparna Sengupta have shared their memories with the artiste through their social media.
Apu took to her social media, "I used to call him dada, and during treatment in Kolkata he told me that he wants to eat shing machher jhol (a sort of fish curry). I managed to fulfil his desire somehow! My maa is gone, and now dada, I can't express how I am feeling right now. Rest in peace dear dada."
Rituparna also wrote, "It broke my heart, Babul, I have worked with you on numerous projects. We have spent so many good times together while working—- those laughs, chatting, and a lot more– are only memories! You gave me the title, 'Magic Girl'. You left too early, despite your fight against it. May you rest in peace, with your favourite Manna bhai."
The choreographer is known for his works in the films like "Beder Meye Josna", "Koti Takar Kabin", "Dola", and "Ki Jadu Korila" among many others. He had worked in more than fifteen hundred films. Actresses like Shabana, Shabnur, Apur Biswas, Rituparna, Mahiya Mahi, among others have worked with him.
