Sushmita Sen resumes work after heart attack
The prominent actress has returned to work as she walked the ramp on Lakme Fashion Week's third day. She had suffered a heart attack earlier this month and underwent an angioplasty, letting her concerned fans know after the procedure had been done.

The "Main Hoon Na" actress was the showstopper for designer Anushree Reddy in a glittering muted yellow lehenga, adorned with minimal jewellery. The official Instagram handle of the fashion week shared a video of her strutting down the runway, carrying a flower bouquet which she smilingly handed over to the paparazzies in front of her.
Previously, the actress had been sick for a while since 2019, when was quoted saying to Pinkvilla that she had joined the social media platform Instagram, to express herself better in the midst of her ill-health. She had been declared "cleared" by her doctors and has been exercising at home.
Sen also mentioned to the media that with her doctor's clearance she will be off to Jaipur to shoot for the season three of "Aarya" and complete the dubbing of her next venture "Taali", in which she plays the role of a trans woman.
