Despite the fact that Bangladesh were bundled out for just 124 runs before going on to lose the third and final T20I by seven wickets against Ireland on Friday, according to skipper Shakib Al Hasan, the Tigers are set to continue their attacking mindset regardless of the result.

Electing to bat with six specialist batters in the line-up, the Tigers kept losing wickets at regular intervals. However, the attacking intent remained visible.

In reply to a modest 125-run target, the visitors cruised to victory with seven wickets in hand and six overs to spare to seal a consolation win and deny the hosts a clean series sweep .

"We didn't bat well, kept on losing wickets, but that happens. If we have to go with the same [attacking] approach, sometimes it may not come off. We did not want to change our approach. If we want to become a good team, that is how we want to play," said Shakib during the post-match presentation ceremony.

Bangladesh will take on Ireland in the one-off Test from April 4 in Mirpur. According to Shakib, the new-look Tigers will look to keep the intensity high in the longest format too.

"We will be playing the Test match after some time, and we will travel to Dhaka and see what we can do. We played very well. After the England series, we have come up with the same intensity. We have played two good matches, and today it was Ireland's day," Shakib said.
