Prof Maksudur Rahman appointed DU proctor

Dr M Maksudur Rahman, a professor of the Geography and Environment Department of Dhaka University, has been appointed as the new proctor of the university.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman appointed Prof Maksudur Rahman today, said a press release issued by Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker.

Prof Golam Rabbani, prof of Islamic History and Culture, had been serving as the university proctor since 2017.
