South Korean actress Jung Chae-yul found dead at home
South Korean model and actress Jung Chae-yul, best known for her role in the K-drama "Zombie Detective", has passed away at the age of 26. The actress' was found dead in her home on April 11.
Jung Chae-yul was also appreciated for her performances in "I Have Not Done My Best Yet", the 2016 reality TV show, "Devil's Runway" and the 2018 film "Deep".
The news of her death was first reported by South Korean news outlet. At present, no cause of death has been shared by the news outlet or the police.
The actress' agency, Management S, has also confirmed the news to the South Korean media, delivering a statement that reads: "We are here to deliver heartbreaking news. Actress Chaeyul has left us. Her funeral will be held privately in accordance to the wishes of her family, who must be in greater sadness than anyone else. We hope you pray for the deceased so Chaeyul, who was also sincere in her acting, may rest in peace."
Jung Chae-yul was set to star in the upcoming K-drama series, "Wedding Impossible", which is currently in the middle of production. The production team for "Wedding Impossible" has since put filming on hold until at least April 12, as they assess the situation.
