Inflation fell to 9.24 per cent in April from a month earlier, data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics showed today.

It stood at 9.33 per cent in March.

Food inflation came down to 8.84 per cent last month from the previous month's 9.09 per cent, while non-food inflation remained unchanged at 9.72 per cent, according to the data from the state-run statistical agency.
