What is Apu Biswas doing in the US?

Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas is currently in the US and it's not for the shooting of a film. The actress landed in the US to participate in the Independence Day celebrations of Bengali expatriates.

The "Laal Sari" actress announced the news on her Facebook wall. The actress posted a selfie where she was seen riding first class to Los Angeles.

The actress will be acting as a guest in a five-hour-long "Shadhinota Dibosh Parade". This event has been running since 2017 and this is the first time Apu Biswas will be part of the programme.

Apu Biswas told the media that an organisation called Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BAFLA) has organised the two-day-long event. The actress has already reached Los Angeles and is scheduled to return to Dhaka on May 9.
