Dancing and singing requires 'serious talent': Bhumi Pednekar
Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar doesn't agree with the idea that good looking actors aren't talented.
During an interaction with former journalist Rajeev Masand at the recently held FICCI Frames 2023, Bhumi stated that her 'vanity' does not detract from her 'craft.'
Bhumi also addressed the misconception that performers who dance and sing in their films are not as good as those who play serious roles.
"Comedy truly is the most difficult form of art. You must be completely alert, with impeccable time and meter. You must still make people feel. People believe she is simply singing and dancing around the trees. No, that needs tremendous talent as well," revealed the actress.
Bhumi has five films coming out in 2023, two of which, "Bheed" and "Afwaah," have already entered theaters. She is now working on "The Lady Killer," "Bhakshak," and "Mere Husband Ki Biwi."
