The Jannatul Ferdous Oishee starrer film, "Adam" was released this Eid. Even in its third week, it is running in several theatres across the country, including Dhaka.

The beautiful actor has already seen her movie three times and will today be heading to Khulna, where she will watch the movie with her fans.

In a candid conversation with The Daily Star, the actor opens up about her latest film, and more.

How was the audience's response to 'Adam'?

"Adam" is still running in theatres and people who have seen it, appreciated the movie for its hard-hitting concept. Today, I will be going to Sangeeta Cinema Hall in Khulna to watch the movie with audiences.

How many times have you seen 'Adam'?

I watched the first show of the movie on the morning of Eid. This was the first time I have seen a movie during Eid and this really meant a lot. Our first show was houseful. I have caught two more screenings of "Adam" with the audience. After watching the film today, it will be the fourth time I have seen "Adam" in theatres.

Do you have any interesting stories to tell about your experience of watching your film with audiences in the theatres?

Yes, after watching "Adam", an elderly uncle came to me and asked me whether I was the same person in the movie or not. He couldn't find any similarities between me and my character in terms of appearance, because my character had a darker complexion in the film. I was really happy to see that fans could not recognise me.

Did you go anywhere else outside of Dhaka to promote 'Adam'?

I have visited a cinema hall in Sirajganj, which was opened by a doctor. I was really impressed watching the movie there. I really have to applaud the taste of the cinema hall owner. The cinema hall is being operated by the doctor and his wife. I really had a fun time interacting with the audience there.
