It seems like 'love' is definitely not in the air for Shakira and Tom Cruise as the singer is apparently 'not interested' in dating the Mission Impossible star. 

According to The Mirror, Tom Cruise was completely smitten by "The Hips Don't Lie" singer during their Miami Grand Prix meetup. 

Reportedly, the actor felt a deep connection between them and told his friends that he felt a connection that he wants to explore with her. However, sources close to Shakira revealed she was just being friendly and Tom was just making assumptions in his head and was trying to woo her. 

Tom Cruise revealed that he felt 'giddy' after their encounter and he acted the same way he started dating his former spouse, Katie Holmes. The actor even sent flowers to impress her but Shakira just couldn't find him attractive. 

Shakira didn't want to embarrass him or upset him. There just wasn't any attraction or romance on her part. She was just being friendly towards him. She is flattered by his persuasion, but not interested at all.
