Zayed Khan has recently been in the news for claiming that girls are obsessed with him. Recently, there was also another report that claimed the actor is suffering from erotomania disease ( believing that another person is in love with them) and that one of his fans offered him money worth five of his movies to spend time with him.

In an interview with a local media, the actor talked about women's obsession with him and how some YouTubers are trying to diminish his reputation with fake news.

"If you are an actor and your female fans don't take selfies with you then you definitely can't be a hero. Heroes need to have female fans to achieve stardom. What is the use of my beauty and good attire, if female fans don't approach me for a selfie," said the actor.

The actor said that being chased by female fans is a common scenario for heroes; especially for him as he is a bachelor.

"Whenever I go to a wedding, girls always surround me. This isn't a bad thing at all. This kind of thing happens to other men as well but it happens to me mostly as I am an eligible bachelor," added the actor.

Recently, the actor confessed that a woman offered him the same amount as his movies in order to spend some quality time with him. The actor claimed that some YouTuber distorted the whole statement by claiming that woman wanted to sleep with him.

"As a celebrity my female fans do knock me on Facebook.  I had this female fan that I tried to avoid but was obsessed with me. She offered me money worth five movies to spend time with me by asking me questions about my film or what I am up to. But some YouTubers completely changed the whole thing to increase their views," said the actor.

However, Zayed Khan claims even after those fake YouTube videos, girls still come to him to take selfies and ask him about his films.

"I love my country so much that I didn't settle abroad. I have studied from a renowned institution and then decided to pursue acting instead of getting a job. Just because I try to entertain people doesn't give them the right to disrespect an educated artiste. Many people are trying to ruin my image by sharing my picture with the 'erotomania' syndrome. You people are the ones who need to go to a psychiatrist, not me," added the actor.
