Rajinikanth finishes shooting his 169th film

Legendary Indian star Rajinikanth recently wrapped up his upcoming film "Jailer", directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film, which counts as Rajinikanth's 169th project, also features Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, Tamannaah Bhatia and Ramya Krishnan, among others.

Taking to its social media accounts, the production house of "Jailer", Sun Pictures shared, "It's a wrap for Jailer! Jailer From August 10."

Rajinikanth will be seen playing the lead role, 'jailer Muthuvel Pandian' in the action thriller. "Jailer" was first announced last year in February, which created a storm of excitement among fans. After a year-long wait, they will soon get to see the film in theatres on August 10.

Meanwhile, after "Jailer", Rajinikanth is set to appear in his upcoming film "Lal Salaam," directed by his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush. Moreover, the actor is also set to star in T.J Gnanavel's latest project, temporarily titled "Thalaivar 170".
