Brown joins Tigers to work on improving mental strength
Psychologist Alan Brown arrived at Dhaka yesterday along with Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. He arrived at Sher-e-Bangla National stadium in Mirpur today and is expected to start his activities as the Tigers gear up for an afternoon practice session.
Brown has been appointed to enhance mental strength of the cricketers ahead of the upcoming one-off Test against Afghanistan scheduled to begin from June 14. On his two week tenure Brown will work with the Tigers mental aspects focusing on enhancing their mental resilience, motivation, and teamwork.
Meanwhile all other members of the Tigers' coaching staff had already joined the camp, with pace-bowling coach Allan Donald and spin coach Rangana Herath having started working with the players. The selectors are expected to announce the squad by June 6.
Performance analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran, who has worked with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, is set to join the Tigers tomorrow.
