On Sunday, Rautela took to social media to provide a glimpse into Babi's life and expressed her belief that Bollywood had "failed" the talented actress.

In the video post, Rautela shared a note in Hindi, shedding light on the eventful professional and personal journey of Parveen Babi. The note indicated that the biopic would delve into both aspects of her life and revealed the director as Wasim S Khan and the writer as Dhiraj Mishra.

Accompanying the post, Rautela's captions read, "Bollywood Failed #ParveenBabi but I will make you proud #PB ~ UR Om Namah Shivay. Trust the magic of new beginnings." As news of Urvashi Rautela's involvement in the Parveen Babi biopic surfaced, fans expressed their excitement about the project.

Parveen Babi, renowned for her exceptional performances in iconic films such as "Deewar" (1975), "Amar Akbar Anthony" (1977), and "Suhaag" (1979), left an indelible impression on Indian cinema. With her unfortunate demise in 2005 due to multiple organ failure, she left behind a lasting legacy that continues to inspire generations.

Urvashi Rautela, was last seen in the web-series, "Inspector Avinash", alongside Randeep Hooda, Amit Sial, Abhimanyu Singh, and Freddy Daruwala.
