‘Asian Paints blending clients’ needs with innovation in Bangladesh’

Asian Paints recognises the consistent growth of Bangladesh, supported by a rising middle class and positive economic indicators, said Sireesh Rao, regional head of Asian Paints.

Asian Paints is committed to expanding its market share and strengthening its presence in Bangladesh, he said in an interview.

With a strong network covering all 64 districts, the company is well positioned to cater to the painting needs of customers across the country, he added.

"Our strategic depots located in Demra, Turag, Chattogram, Sylhet, Comilla, Khulna, Bogura, Barishal, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh enable us to effectively distribute and produce goods. We have further enhanced our capabilities with the establishment of a state-of-the-art facility at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN) in Mirsarai."

This cutting-edge facility not only improves Asian Paints' production capacity but also generates employment opportunities for over 150 families, Rao said.

"We are grateful for the assistance provided by BEZA officials in this endeavor. Asian Paints is determined to continue its successful two-decade journey as a leading provider of decor and waterproofing solutions. Our commitment to customer satisfaction and innovation allows us to be a trusted partner in fulfilling consumers' aspirations of designing beautiful homes."

This year, Asian Paints has identified four colour trends based on in-depth analysis: Gothlicious, which explores the intensity of pristine and overwhelming colours; Shroom, which is reminiscent of the quiet strength and tenacity of natural elements in all their strangeness and familiarity; Edge of the Forest, which reflects our need for sustainability, wonder, and hope; and Sleep Sense, which is created especially for a sense of calm and stillness.

The trends include a wide range of sociocultural concerns, from how we express ourselves to a renewed emphasis on well-being and creating stronger connections with others and the world around us.

'Silver Escapade' has been named the colour of the year 2023. It is the colour of time travel and technology, as well as child craft. We got through the last few years by looking for silver linings, and as the world regains its footing, we are walking alongside being pushed by the wind of possibilities.
