During the inaugural event of a clothing brand, Apu Biswas opened up to the media about Pori Moni coming to Facebook live and discussing her private issues.

"I feel like I am a little bit responsible for that. When I came up on TV with Abraham: it inspired a lot of people to come up publicly and discuss their issues boldly on online platforms and Facebook live," stated the actress.

When asked whether she started the trend of publicly coming up live, the actress stated that all she did was help women create their own space in society.

"I didn't start a trend, all I really wanted was for girls to establish their own place. Society expects women to stay quiet and not raise their issue on public platforms. However, I am happy that this is gradually changing," added the actress.

The "Laal Shari" actress was also asked if she agreed with Pori Moni's comment that when a marriage fails, the blame game invariably falls on women.

"Yes, it's totally true. When a relationship doesn't work out, both the husband and wife are equally responsible for it. However, women are the ones who are held responsible for everything. I completely understand Pori's situation and I support her," added the actress.

On the work front, Apu Biswas is hoping to receive the censor certificate for her first produced film "Laal Shari." She wants to release the movie this Eid-Ul-Azha.
