Akshay Kumar announces ‘OMG 2’ release date
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar mesmerised fans with his powerful performance in Umesh Shukla's "OMG: Oh My God!" (2012), playing the role of the Hindu God Krishna. Now, after nearly a decade-long wait, the actor is back again with a sequel to the film, titled "OMG 2".
Taking to his social media accounts, the "Housefull" star shocked fans today, sharing a glimpse at his tantalising new avatar, with a new poster for the film. Moreover, Akshay also went on to announce the project's release date in his post.
He wrote, "We are coming, you will also come, August 11, 'OMG 2' in theatres."
Directed by Amit Rai, "OMG 2" stars Akshay in the central role, alongside Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aamir Naik, among others. The film was jointly written by Aamir Naik, Rajveer Ahuja and Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.
After such a long wait, fans will soon get to see the second instalment of the "OMG: Oh My God!" franchise in theatres, this August 11.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar who was last seen in "Selfiee", is currently busy shooting "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" alongside Tiger Shroff.
