Air Astra opens first sales office in Ctg

Air Astra, the newest commercial airline in Bangladesh, opened its first sales office for its clients in the port city's Agrabad today.

The office was inaugurated by renowned rock band singer Nakib Khan on the ground floor of Macca Madina Tower of Agrabad while Air Astra's CEO Imran Asif was present at the inauguration ceremony.

In the office clients can buy, cancel or get refunds directly, said the officials.

The CEO said they have targeted to launch international flights by next year after finding a suitable destination.

The country's third privately owned airline is scheduled to operate 12 flights daily to and from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Syedpur and Sylhet.
