Netflix opening restaurant, British-Bangladeshi chef Nadiya featured
Netflix is bringing its content "from screen to table" with the inauguration of their new popup restaurant, "Netflix Bites" in Los Angeles on June 30.
The restaurant will feature food from popular cooking shows including "Chef's Table," "Iron Chef," "Is It Cake?" and "Drink Masters."
Among those taking part are Michelin-starred chefs Dominque Crenn and Curtis Stone. Ming Tsai, an East-West fusion expert, and baker Nadiya Hussain are featured on the menu for the limited-time pop-up.
"Great British Bake Off" series six winner Nadiya Hussain has her own BBC cookery series "Nadiya's Simple Spices" available for streaming on BBC Two and iPlayer later this year.
Nadiya will use eight simple spices throughout the series to convert bland dishes into delicious feasts. She'll show viewers how to cook with spices effortlessly by combining Bangladeshi influences from her youth with British flavors.
Netflix Bites will be available for a short period of time at Short Stories Hotel on June 30. The pop-up restaurant will be open every day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through July 12.
