31 films featuring Uttam Kumar streamable on OTT

Commemorating Uttam Kumar on his 43rd death anniversary (July 24), the Indian Bengali OTT platform KLIKK will stream 31 most memorable films of the Mahanayak of Indian Bengali cinema.

According to the platform, to pay tribute to the actor, the films will stream throughout the month.

Uttam Kumar passed away on July 24, 1980 at the age of 53 due to a heart attack. Yet, his fans kept him alive through his works. 

His contributions towards the Indian Bengali cinema is indisputable. To pay respect to his contributions, KLIKK have arranged a special programme where the list of all the 31 films will be announced.

They plan to showcase films of different genre, which will definitely include the romantic Uttam Kumar, for which he was most popular. 

The list includes films with Suchitra Sen, the most loved on-screen pair ever. It will also contain Uttam's pair with Sabitri Chatterjee, Madhabi Mukherjee and Supriya Devi among others.

Films like "Shyamali", "Shohorer Iti Kotha" are included in the list.
