Priyanka Chopra leaves Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zaraa’

Rumours about Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif leaving, actor-director Farhan Akthar's upcoming film, "Jee Le Zaraa" has been going around for a while now. According to recent media reports, Priyanka Chopra is be unable to continue due to scheduling conflict.

However, news reports suggest that Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt are still on board with "Jee Le Zaraa".

Initially, the film was supposed to feature Katrina, Priyanka and Alia as characters going on an 'all girl' road trip just like in "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara". Now, the director will have to find a replacement for Priyanka. However, no official statement concerning this situation has been made by the film's cast or director.

According to media reports, Priyanka Chopra has a tight schedule with "Citadel" season two. The actor will not be able to make time to shoot "Jee Le Zaraa" in 2023. While Farhan Akthar seems to be fine with pushing the project's shoot to next year, Alia Bhatt's packed with two film shootings, "Ramayana" and "Baiju Bawra" in 2024.

"Jee Le Zaraa" counts as Farhan Akter's grand return as a director after "Don 2". According to media outlets, Farhan is also busy with the third installment of "Don" franchise as well, titled "Don 3: The Chase End".
