Yesterday, the organisers of "Magical Night" conducted a press conference with Anupam Roy, where he interacted with the media at Hotel Sarina.

"Whenever I get requests, I feel grateful that I am able to get the opportunity to roam around its street and immerse myself into its rich culture. Bangladesh is really close to my heart," said the artiste.

When asked what made him decide to participate in the "Magical Night" concert, the singer replied that he always looks for chances to come to Bangladesh.

"When they told me it was Bangladesh, I always instantly agreed to take part in the concert. However, the rest of the details are managed by my management team, who ensures where the concert is taking place and how it is being arranged. If my team gives an ok signal, then nobody can stop me from doing the concert," added the singer.

On being asked whether he will be performing any Hindi song at the event. The singer replied that he really isn't keen on doing so as he doesn't want to sing Hindi in Bangladesh.

"I have created some Hindi songs, but I am personally not keen on performing those songs. I have a lot of places to perform those songs, like in places like Bombay or Bangalore. I don't understand why I need to sing Hindi songs in Dhaka. If the audience really wants, I can sing for them. However, personally, I would like to stick to Bengali songs," stated Anupam.

When asked which Bangladeshi musician has created an impact on his life. The singer revealed that he is forever grateful to Miles.

"Miles has played an important role in inspiring me to make music. I am in awe of their compositions. I also love listening to Arnob's songs and I am super excited about performing with him," said the singer.

Anupam became nostalgic on remembering Ayub Bachchu, and how he helped him during his initial days.

"When we were really young, we were really scared of performing in Bangladesh as we didn't want to disappoint the crowd. I am so thankful to Bachchu bhai for supporting us in our initial struggles," concluded the singer.
