Was not criticising Shakib Khan: Afran Nisho clarifies
Recently, there has been a lot of discussion and criticism surrounding a comment made by Afran Nisho. Some people believe that Nisho criticised Shakib Khan, the top hero of Bangladeshi cinema, through an off-handed comment. This is why the hardcore fans of Shakib Khan have called for a boycott of Nisho, with many unfollowing the actor's official social media pages.
Now Nisho has opened up about the comments. The actor clarified that he was not referring to Shakib Khan. He added that his statement was misinterpreted and misrepresented. In fact, the actor stated that he was referring to himself.
In a Facebook video of a TV channel, the actor talked about the matter. "We were taught—and I've faced this myself—that you shouldn't talk about your personal matters. Don't tell the people about your relationship too early on, otherwise girls won't like you. The audience won't gravitate towards you. I referred to this and shared how I do not follow that kind of so-called heroism. I am not the type of hero who doesn't talk about marriage or their wife," said Nisho.
The actor also added, "I don't want to be a hero who can't get close to people. Like I'm going to the hall. Many people may think that this is not the work of a hero. Now that I have come to the big screen, I have gone to people and heard about their pain. Because my performances come from my observations. That's my philosophy. I actually made my point. I'm not that hero. I am an actor. There has never been pressure related to age, wife and children. If I receive fewer projects because of that, then it's fine. So, I'm talking about the philosophy that people had about actors and heroes a long time back. But I am an actor of this generation. I don't want to maintain that philosophy."
