Chung Lim, a Korean actor and singer, passed away at the age of 37 after battling with colon cancer on July 19. The actor made his acting debut with the Korean drama "Sorry, I love you" and then went on to star in several films and series. 

Chung Lim also appeared in "Dream" and a cameo in "Smile Mom." In 2009, he began a new chapter in his career by embarking on a musical journey, releasing his debut EP album, "STEP." His height and dancing abilities made many people compare him to famed musician Rain.

The singer was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2010. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy as part of his treatment. His cancer reappeared in 2011.
