Give me time, I will let you know: Apu Biswas on if she was actually divorced from Shakib

A video had been recently circulating the internet, of Apu Biswas and Shakib Khan's divorce hearings. In the video, it can be observed that only Apu showed up to the hearing, with a City Corporation officer saying that the defendant (Apu Biswas) is present and has presented her statement.

The officer could also be heard mentioning that Apu wanted to resolve the matter, and spend time with her husband and family. Shakib Khan on the other hand was not present at the hearing, and had sent an application which did not have a registry from a Kazi office.

After all of this came to light, people have been questioning whether the celeb couple has been truly divorced or not. However, what does Apu Biswas have to say about it?

Apu had recently travelled to the US to take part in a celebrity program with her son Joy. When asked about the video, Apu told a local media that she had indeed seen the video as well, and thinks it better to ask the City Corporation about whether their divorce had been finalised.

When probed further, Apu replied " This is a sensitive issue, I don't want to say more than necessary."

"When we were separated, I got angry and said a lot of things, which  caused me to suffer. I don't want to go through that again. My parents are no more and I found a new family for myself. Not only a husband, but kids, in-laws and more–I want to spend my life peacefully with them," requested Apu, also adding, " Thus give me some time, I will let you guys know in an orderly manner."

Even long before Shakib Khan applied for divorce, which was around late 2017, Apu had been living by herself with her son, Joy. Despite the separation, Joy would often visit Shakib Khan, the two spending quality time together. This recent surfacing of the video of their trial could be a result of the speculation that has engulfed media and the netizens alike.

Since earlier this year, Shakib and Apu have been speaking for each other ,supporting each other's films on social media and also have been seen touring together in the US. While neither of them have said anything concrete about their marital status.
