Tecno Camon 20 series fashion festival: Mesmerising runway extravaganza

Phones nowadays are more than just a device we use to communicate with one another. They are packed to the brim with a variety of different functionalities which make our lives that much easier. They are also a reflection of one's style and expressiveness, showcasing peoples taste and preferences when it comes to the aesthetic nature of a phone. That's where the Tecno Camon 20 series comes in. Recently launched this month, this series has taken the smartphone by storm by being an affordable and stylish phone choice that can truly compliment a plethora of styles and preferences.

Tecno CAMON 20 series Fashion Festival intended to bring a platform where they introduced a cutting edge technologically advanced phone and marry it with the fashionable style and gorgeous aesthetics. In an era where phones are a part of people's identity, these new phones from Tecno emerged as a bold statement of sophisticated individuality. As many fashion enthusiasts will tell you, style is not limited to our clothing; it permeates every aspect of our lives, including the devices we carry with us.

The National training manager of Transsion holdings, the parent company of Tecno, Muhammad Israil Ali stated that they have witnessed a healthy surge in popularity for Tecno phones in Bangladesh, with the Camon series being the most popular. "Camon is not just a phone, it's also a device that ensures your elite-ness and classiness, and we want to showcase that," stated Israil Ali.

The event itself was a delightful melting pot of famous fashion designers, models, influencers and tech YouTubers who were all present to witness the launch of the Camon 20 series phones. They all had a first glance at the phones and had the chance to use it for pictures and videos on intricate set pieces present at the event.

The highlight of the evening was the fashion show that followed afterwards. The show started with the hilarious hosting by Dhaka Guys, followed by speeches from the Chief Executive Officer and Global Vice President of Transsion Holdings. It was then time for dance performances and Tahsan's harmonious singing that kicked off the catwalk presentation choreographed by Azra Mahmood.

The show featured four incredibly talented Bangladeshi designers, namely Samina Sara, whose collection brought a pop of colour to everyone's eyes; the vibrant shades of pink, yellow and green on the outfits dancing and gleaming in the spotlight. Next up was Shahrukh Amins 'Forget Me Not' collection with black floral motifs celebrating the elegance and simplicity of the colour black. "Forget me not captures the essence of the 'Forget Me Not' flower, symbolising the plea to remember the past, to revel in nostalgia," said Shahrukh.

After that came Imam Hassan, famously known for his sustainable fashion. His collection featured a retro style made from sustainable clothing, featuring neutral earthy colours that really stood out in the spotlight and truly was a fresh take on classic Bengali fashion. "I am really happy about the show and very glad that everyone adored my collection this evening," expressed Imam.

And last but certainly not least was Tenzing Chakma, who presented a heart-warming tribute to his home in the hills with his tribal collection which had contrasting colour compositions and intricate fabric work all transporting us magically to the hilly mountain sides. It truly was a breath of fresh air to see such a master at work!
