Travellers crossing Kalurghat bridge in Chattogram on foot as the authorities closed the bridge for vehicular movement for renovation yesterday. It was done before opening ferry service as an alternative to cross the Karnaphuli. The bridge is being refurbished as part of the construction work of rail line between Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar.
