‘Insidious: The Red Door’: Paranormal pandemonium hits Star Cineplex tomorrow
Horror movie lovers gear up to open the gate to a haunting paranormal universe as "Insidious: The Red Door" hits Star Cineplex tomorrow. The film which has already been released in US has become the highest-grossing movie of its franchise.
The fifth installment in the Blumhouse horror series has earned $174.3 million at the global box office, making it the most profitable "Insidious" film. Internationally, the film has earned $96.3, including $13.3 million in Mexico and $9.5 million in the United Kingdom.
In 2010, the first movie of this franchise, "Insidious", got a huge response after its release. Previously, its last release "Insidious: The Last Key" was released in 2018. After five years, the fifth film of the franchise has come to the screen.
Patrick Wilson, who plays Josh in the franchise has directed "Insidious: The Red Door."
The movie revolves around Josh Lambert's son Dalton, who prepares for his next chapter as a college student in the film. However, things start to become difficult for Dalton when his previously suppressed demon starts to surface again. Josh and Dalton, determined to put an end to the pandemonium, decide to travel beyond the renowned red door, which hides horrifying terrors. The film also stars Ty Simpkins, Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, among others.
