Zareen Khan hospitalised with dengue
Zareen Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to dengue fever. As reported by Pinkvilla, the actor is currently experiencing a fever and body aches. Zareen took to social media on Wednesday to provide an update on her health condition.
Zareen shared photographs from her hospital stay, albeit without revealing her face. In one photo, she showcased a glass of fruit juice alongside the caption "#RecoveryMode". She also previously posted an image in which she can be seen receiving intravenous fluids, accompanied by the caption "#LifeUpdate".
Zareen Khan made her acting debut with the 2010 film "Veer", in which she portrayed a princess. She was introduced to the film industry by Salman Khan. Her popularity grew after her appearance alongside Salman in the dance number "Character Dheela" from the 2011 comedy-drama "Ready". Despite this, her most commercially successful release remains "Housefull 2". Zareen has also been featured in movies like "Hate Story 3", "Aksar 2", "1921", among others.
There were speculations last year about Zareen Khan quitting acting, as her last film release was in 2021. She clarified that her hiatus was due to her mother's health issues.
Zareen explained, "Nothing in this matters to me if I wouldn't have my mother. I don't have anybody else apart from her in my life. When she is not in the best of health, nothing matters to me. That is the reason everything took a back seat, including my work and my fitness routine. Now that she is having better days, I've again started working and focusing on my fitness regime."
Although Zareen is yet to announce her upcoming film projects, she remains active on social media platforms. Recently, she conducted an 'Ask me anything' session on Reddit, during which she addressed comparisons with fellow actor Katrina Kaif.
