Acer to strengthen its services in Bangladesh: Acer CSO
Acer, the global hardware and electronics brand, is on its way to reaching 15 years in Bangladesh. To mark the occasion, a press meeting was recently held where Sanjeev Mehtani, Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Acer for India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan, answered questions from journalists and reaffirmed the brand's commitment towards innovative technology and sustainable services.
In the press meeting, Sanjeev Mehtani discussed the brand's current presence and future plans for the market of Bangladesh. Amit Kumar Singh, National Manager of Program and Sales for India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan, also participated in the event.
During the meeting, journalists inquired about Acer's progress in Bangladesh, operations, post-sales service, and related matters. Sanjeev Mehtani addressed these queries, highlighting Acer's global journey spanning 48 years. The company started its hardware business in 1976, but day by day it has also moved into other spheres of innovative technologies. Even now, Acer continues to push research and development, as per Mehtani.
Acer's journey in Bangladesh started in 2009. Pointing out the work experience in Bangladesh, Mehtani said, "We are now working to build a complete setup of Acer in Bangladesh. Even though we have a partner in Bangladesh as a distribution company, Acer is now all set to strengthen its services in Bangladesh."
He also added that the used plastic in the packaging of laptops and other products as well can be easily recycled. According to the points discussed in the meeting, Acer aims to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2025 and invest further in environment-friendly technology.
